About MeI was born and raised in south Texas on the southwest outskirts of Houston and I've spent the better portion of my life either fishing most lakes in Texas or preparing for my next trip. Fishing has been a part of my life since I was about 6 years old when my grandparents used to take me and my brothers on camping trips to various state parks in Texas. From the time I was 6 to my 15th birthday when my father gave me a guided trip to Lake Lafayette in Columbus, TX, I had been wishing for that monster bite that would take me for a ride. On that guided trip to Columbus I hooked my first lunker Largemouth on a Carolina rigged PowerBait brown salamander with a green curly tail. Since then if I wasn't working on my IT career or singing in the church choir I was fishing. It simply consumed my life. My wife and I live near Ray Roberts Lake with our dog Sadie and I have been fishing that lake since 2006. I recently joined the McKinney Bass Club to get some experience tournament fishing in preparation for what I want to do for the rest of my life...be a professional fisherman. I started this website primarily to give back what this wonderful sport has given me over the years and to promote conservation of our beautiful earth that God has blessed us with. This earth is covered with 90% of water so I strongly believe we were meant to spend most of our time on the water or at its edge admiring its beauty and thanking God for its life giving properties. I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way into heaven. I have seen and experienced much in my life as proof of this fact. Even though I spent a portion of my life running from God's will for my life I know that He still took care of me in those times just as He watches over me and my family now. There is nothing in this world that can sway me from the belief that I am here because God willed it. And I am here to do what He wills not what I will. I'll post my testimony in more detail in the near future but this is a lead into my full testimony and just who I am.
